Captain's Blog — July 3rd & 4th

All I can say is that catching has been getting better! The last 3 days the weather was perfect. The lake is starting to set up nicely. Hopefully the winds keep blowing in our favor. This weekend, I fished with my family. They don't get many chances. Friday and Saturday combined for about 28 strikes, many quality fish for this time of year. Many salmon and steel Head trout came to net.

Best bite was 120 down on Pro-Troll green flasher e-chip with Atomik #23 green crinkle fly for salmon. Steel head were coming on spoons and sliders half way down. Best spoon was NBK and NK Black and Silver with green tape. Copper 500 or 600 out took its fair share of bites.
